I posted about this before, but it’s even more timely now. My daughter gave me Joy Harjo’s book, “When the Light of the World Was Subdued, Our Songs Came Through.” It’s a wonderful collection of Native Nations poetry. But I’d already bought it and she wants it–so I’m giving it to her for Christmas!
